I have the OEM BMW touch up paint that the BMW dealership sells, and used it on a few small chips on my 2002 Steel Grey 325ci. The color is way too dark and is not even a close match. The color code for my car is Steel Grey 400, and I confirmed that the paint stick is "Stahlgrau 400" made for BMW in germany. So it is the right stuff for sure.
It can be done with canned spray paint but please DONT JUST SPRAY PAINT IT. Use a good quality paint kit that comes with sanding/cleaning solutions and a primer as well as the exact BMW paint code that you will need. I painted the rocker panels and rear bumpers on my old E36 and it came out pretty good. It can be done if you use the right kit.

The squeak comes from our M3's Black Shadowline Trim & our door rubber seal. This is the reason why people with M cars or M sport pack, basically with Black Shadowline Trim, always have this squeak problem. The ones with OEM chrome trim do not seem to suffer from squeak. Hey fellas, first time posting ok. So the car is getting horrible mpg. I have 3 hard codes that keep coming back to ista after clearing the system. my assumption is it's stemming from the MAS?
