Forthe type 8K (B8 A4) and type 8T (B8 A5), all halogen headlamps have a single 10-pin plug and all HID headlamps have a single 14-pin plug to the vehicle. Without adaptive suspension (which has level sensors on all four wheels), HID had front and rear level sensors on the left until Nov '08.
