It "might" be accessible from the top of the engine, as you look over the engine you'll see the heatshield and the sensor will be under the right hand side (passenger side) of the shield by the lower mounting bolt for the shield. The second one is in the top centre of the cat. The reason your Ford Mondeo shakes at idle but smooths out when accelerating is that the engine is spinning faster, which smooths out any misfires. If a motor mount is causing the problem, once you put the car into gear, the torque from the engine will hold it against the frame. It can be very jarring when your Ford Mondeo shakes when idle.

I pumped it several times and it got better, but still not as before - the shifting is not smooth and in half depressed pedal there is unusual noise (i think its from the slave cylinder bearing). The break fluid is ok.
