Since the question is not about the best current rally simulation, but about DR 2.0 or WRC 8, it's easy. DR 2.0 has the better sound and can be played in VR. WRC 8 has the official license, but ultimately they are similar, whereby DR 2.0 with the gamepad control is already arcade. This is my personal impression! Avoid high RPM's unless it's necessary. If you rely on front wheel grip and try to steer through the turns you'll constantly be slipping and falling off of your intended line. Snow's really enjoyable to drive on once you get the hang out it, it makes everything seem so smooth. #3. TOE-IN / TOE-OUT. Affects 3 major areas; Tire wear, straight-line stability and corner entry handling. For minimum tire-wear, it would be ideal to have the wheels parallel / 0 degrees while riding. This can be accomplished to give a bit static toe-out to a front-wheel-drive car, or toe-in to a rear-wheel-drive.
Went through settings and changed back to what was working great for me before and it still feels off, better but off. I've looked everywhere for help with FFB settings specifically with a DD1 and Dirt Rally 2.0 but am unable to get it dialed in. Found one post on here with a couple of users posted settings and wanted to add more.
Solid_Jellyfish. OP • 3 mo. ago. Dr2.0's telemetry is quite bad for shakers. A lot of the effects are exactly the same triggered by different things. I spent hours trying dial in stuff like abs, wheelspin, jump landings etc. until i settled for gear shifts, subtle engine rpm, road vibrations and road impacts. Description. 6. A very gentle curve, possible to drive through with pedal to the metal and with gentle movement of the wheel. 5. Also a gently curve, in most cases requiring you to ease off the throttle a little. 4. A delicate turn - you will need to slow down a bit or even lower the gear. 3.
Game manuals aren't really a thing anymore, unfortunately. Usually a game nowadays either treats the player like a complete dimwit and has tutorials and constant UI message spam to explain even the simplest of things, or it explains players next to nothing. DR2.0 is the latter kind.
I'm totally down for that! I asked for assists but after posting I was discussing with my brother and he said the same, playing with no assists is better than playing with them and then not being able to turn them off because I'm used to them. Thanks for the quick answer.
Any bass shaker experts here? I could use some help. I have a 2-channel front+back shaker setup and using it with dirt rally 2.0 and simhub Why is wheel slip like this? First; it vibrates front and back shakers no matter the output settings with both fwd and rwd cars.
Is there a way to play carrer without all the DLC money and cars from the Rally 2.0 game of the year edition? DiRT Rally 2.0 Hey, so I just bought the goty edition and was going to start the carreer mode and realized I already had numerous cars in my garage and 2.4M CREDITS. tap the brakes and you will be alright. you might also consider adjusting your brake setup for each set of conditions although i dont do that very often. 1. mercilesssinner. • 3 yr. ago. Automatic transmission (xbox controller). I also use the chase cam, although the game does not consider it an assist. 3.
Technically a Skyrim mod but made to be compatible with most games and works great in Dirt Rally 2.0. It comes with presets for Skyrim so a few values need to be changed to make dr2 colors/brightness look right. @obo made an additional .dll to accompany reshade.
