There is no co-op campaign, but you can go together in the open world. I'm not sure on how it will work on pc though. 2 people buy a copy of the game. I believe on PS4 if you purchase 1 copy you can give someone else a 10 hour trial of the game.

Clean the PS3, clean the disks, keep it in a cool place. It's on a per game basis, as far as I know. Has to do with how optimized the game is for the platform, and the PS3 is often given the short shrift on multiplatform releases. Far Cry 3 and Dishonored, I know are supposed to have a decent amount of screen tearing on PS3.
I agree, it's stupid that technology is moving away from one of the main benefits of a console. Far Cry 6 isn't out yet though, so we can hope that it will have split screen.
